Lauren Alaina was a fan favorite in American Idol's Season Ten listing. Her appearance was unique, and she is also well-known for her dedication to God. Lauren is a native of Georgia and lived in the town of Rossville, Georgia. Her cousin's cancerous brain diagnosis convinced Lauren to go after her goals of singing. Scotty, who won American Idol in 2010, was a good friend to Lauren while she was on the show. The two shared the same faith-based country heritage, and both were likable.
